Bar None to close for six-week renovation programme following sale to new owner
Popular Benalmadena venue, Bar None is set to close for six weeks for renovation works, following the sale of the business to a new owner. With work already underway, Bar None has confirmed they will re-open on Friday 29th March.
Bar None, situated on the lively, Avenida Antonio Machado in Benalmadena, is a Rangers supporters and sports bar, that was purchased by Mitchell Carling in February 2024. The bar has played host to thirsty Rangers fans visiting the Costa del sol for years, and under the fresh stewardship of Mr Carling, it is hoped will continue to provide quality Scottish hospitality for years to come.
Speaking of the renovations, new owner Mitchell Carling commented; “I’m excited to get the work started, and our builders has made great progress already. We’re refreshing the whole bar, whilst retaining the heart of the pub. There will still be loads of memorabilia for visitors to look at, and we’re hoping to launch a range of merchandise, which is something a lot of people have suggested since I bought the business. I’m looking forward to getting open again, and welcoming back the many regulars, as well as my friends and family.”
